The life cycle of a laptop battery is approximately 1.5-3 years usually. The continuous usage of the battery requires charge and discharge, and with every charging cycle, the battery gets closer to the end of its lifetime. That means from month-to-month we can notice minimally decreasing battery usage time.

The screen is a sensitive part of a laptop, so every drop, pressure, physical damage, a pen, mouse or other external devices left on the keyboard can make the screen crack. In this case we can only solve the problem with the complete replacement of the screen. In our service, we can replace almost every laptop screen, from the smallest to the largest and these screens are available immediately with warranty. You can find many different brand new and used laptop screens in our supply, the installment of these screens is free, you can wait for it in our shop and it requires 15-20 minutes usually.

The most common issue of the keyboard is the liquid damage, when accidentally some liquid (beer, wine, coffee) spills into the keyboard. The most important thing to do in this case is the immediate removal of the battery, if the liquid reaches other parts within the laptop, it will cause serious short-circuits on the motherboard. Usually shortly after the accident, many keys will become unusable, and this is clearly caused by the oxidation, occurring between different layers of the keyboards. A keyboard control consist of 3 layers (upper conductive layer, disjunctive layer, and lower conductive layer), so fixing a liquid damage related problem is impossible for even the most professional electronics experts. In order to fix the problem, the replacement of the keyboard is necessary. We highly recommend to immediately turn for professional help, if your device is exposed to any liquid in order to clear off early oxidation from the motherboard or other important parts of the laptop.
Another common problem, when some key or keys are falling and breaking off the keyboard, when the mechanics under the keys are damaged. In most cases these buttons and mechanics are replaceable, but in order to change these parts, we need your laptop - keys and mechanics may vary, even within two identical laptop models. Replacing one key costs 1500 forints in our service.
Before purchase, in order to choose the right keyboard for your laptop, it is enough to know the exact model of the laptop. If the keyboard was taken out beforehand, it is worth to check the part numbers on the back of the keyboard and compare the keyboard to our product photos in the webshop, for even more precise and certain identification. In our service, replacing a laptop keyboard requires 5-10 minutes, and the installation is free.
If you decide to purchase the hard disk in our store, there will be no additional installing fees, and it only requires 10-15 minutes. New and used PATA (IDE) and SATA hard disks are available in our webshop and in our store. There is a common question after the upgrade: What should you do with the old HDD? If you want to keep all your data after the upgrade, you can find an external USB case for your hard drive in our shop, and you can still use it as a portable storage drive.
To increase the performance of a laptop, the easiest option is adding more system memory. After the memory upgrade, the basic operation of the computer will become more continuous, reliable and faster, even after running multiple softwares and apps at the same time, because the operating system needs little or no virtual memory, every data will be stored in these quickly accessible modules.
There are different types of memory modules (DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4), so we recommend to rely on the help of our service. You can wait for the replacement and upgrade of the memories in our shop, and there are no additional installing fees.
Broken plastic parts are basic problems of mass produced laptops, and these parts will easily break after the laptop was dropped. The plastic parts are replaceable in most cases within 1 business day.
Certain laptop model series tend to have faulty screen hinges (for example: HP NX7400, Asus F5, Lenovo Thinkpad SL400, Dell Latitude D600), so sometimes these hinges, that are opening the screen of your laptop will tighten, break or even damage the LCD-back cover as well. In order to solve this issue, the replacement of both hinges is required. This service process takes 1 business day in our service.
